I kind of stumbled into the promotional products world by accident — and it turned out to be the perfect fit.
After being downsized from a large telecom company, a recruiter recognized the mix of creativity and business experience I’d built through my career and time at BCIT, and connected me with a promotional products and embroidery company. From day one, I was hooked.
What I love about this industry is the blend of branding, creativity, fashion, and collaboration. One day it’s Pantones and fabric swatches, the next it’s helping bring a client’s event, campaign, or brand vision to life.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to learn from some incredible teams, including Logotex Mfg in East Vancouver and Sudden Impact Promotional Products in the Fraser Valley. Eventually, that experience — combined with a 3 a.m. “why not?” moment — led to launching simplyPROMO on the North Shore.
Today, simplyPROMO helps brands create merchandise that feels thoughtful, creative, and worth keeping. From custom apparel and event swag to eco-conscious promo products and corporate gifting, I love helping businesses create merch that connects with people and reflects their brand properly.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me hiking North Shore trails, checking out local events, enjoying a patio seasonal, or cheering on our teen daughters at North Shore Girls Soccer League games alongside my husband and our labradoodle, Pippa.
Based on the North Shore, we work with businesses across Canada to make branded merchandise easier, more creative, and a lot less forgettable.
